How to Download COMEDK 2016 Admit Card
COMEDK 2016 Admit Card will be issued on 30 April 2016 by COMEDK (Consortium of Medical, Engineering, and Dental Colleges of Karnataka). The candidates whose application forms have been successfully submitted will be able to obtain it in online mode only. There are two sources to download the admit card – official website of COMEDK and EntranceCorner. It is to be noted that no candidate will get physical admit card in post or courier on his registered residential address. The exam for admission in B.Tech UG course is scheduled to be conducted on 8 May 2016.
How to obtain COMEDK 2016 Admit Card?
To download the admit card, candidate must first access the official website of COMEDK. The next step is to login into the account by entering ID and password correctly in the respective fields, these details would have been generated on completion of the registration process. Once these details are entered and submit button is pressed, candidate would be logged into his account. Now, he must find and click the link for admit card on the homepage. On clicking the link, admit card will be shown on the screen from where it can be printed on A4 sized paper sheet or saved in PDF format, as the candidate wishes.
COMEDK 2016 Admit Card will show the following information related to a candidate’s personal credentials and examination – name, father’s name, date of birth, state code of eligibility, course applied for, category, application number, roll number, photo, space fort thumb impression of the candidate and signature of invigilator, exam date, exam time, exam venue address and code, and some other instructions for the exam. Just in case if any error is spotted, the candidate must immediately inform COMEDK officials for correction and issue of a correct version of the admit card.
The importance of COMEDK 2016 Admit Card
At the COMEDK 2016 exam venue, the invigilator would check the admit card to ensure that the card bearer is the same candidate who has filled the application form. He will check the details and match them with the candidate attendance sheet present with him. On ensuring that all the details match, he will allow the candidate to take the exam. in support of the admit card, it is suggested to carry an additional photo ID proof i.e. aadhar card, passport, ration card, voter ID card, driving license, or school ID proof. If the details fail to match, permission to take the exam will not be granted. Since COMEDK 2016 Admit Card is an important document, it must be kept in the best of condition till the final allotments are done. It will be checked at various stages of the exam, admission, and enrollment process.
