How to Disable Adobe Application Manager?

Adobe application manager (formerly called Adobe updater) is the program that is automatically installed with the Adobe product and helps to manage the installation and easy updating of its products. It thoroughly checks the new updates for its product installed on your computer and notifies you when finds any new. However, it frequently displays the update notifications on your computer screen which can be annoying, therefore Adobe Support recommends that it is better to disable before you fed up with these. You merely need to change the few notification options to disable the updates permanently.

1. Click on window explorer icon to open and navigate to the files on the C drive. For the window 8 or 64-bit version users, Keep clicking “C drive” > “Program files (86)” > “Common files” > “Adobe” > “OOBE” > “PDApp” > “Core”.

2. You can find the little variation in the options for the window 7 or 34-bit window operating system user. Double-click on the file “PDApp.exe” to start the update manager.

3. You can see the list of options here; click the “Preference” beside the Update button in the newly opened window. The preference window will open.

4. Make the checkmark in the box before the option “Notify me of the new updates on the menu bar” and then click “Ok” to save the changes. You have done this task now.
