Sometimes that spectacular dress hanging in your closet has seen better days, or out of fashion. Before you donate it or throw it away, take a look at the dress lining. Consider cut the lining, to use it as a dress. 1.Observe well the dress which you want to remove the lining. 3.Procure for any holes or irregularities in the tissue lining, as grooves or slots made during manufacture.

Removing the liner

1.Corte out the points at the end of the neck.

3.Procure for any tack that is holding the lining to the dress and cut them out as well. This done, the liner should now loosen the dress.

4. Make the hem the ends of the sleeves with a rolled seam or with a handkerchief hem.
