How to Crack TNPSC group 4 exam

commission recruits more vacancies every year through the TNPSC group 4
examination. From SSLC to PG there are government jobs for all qualifications.
More than 15 lakhs of candidates from various regions of Tamilnadu apply for
the examination every year. An SSLC passed candidate can apply for this
examination. A minimum of SSLC passed certificate is required for a candidate
to attend the examination.
Syllabus
In the tnpsc group four exam,
the General studies carry about 75 marks, the Aptitude test carries – 25marks,
General English/General Tamil carries – 100 marks. In the duration of 3hours,
the candidate should attend questions that carry 200 marks.
General Studies
To gain good marks in general
studies the candidate is advised to be updated on the current affairs that are
happening in the state and the country. The candidates should regularly follow
one national newspaper, one state newspaper, and magazines to keep them updated
on the latest current affairs. Scrolling through social media, listening to
radio news, and watching television news is also a great the idea to improve
your current affairs and General knowledge.
Aptitude
The candidates should train
themselves by solving different mathematical questions to gain good marks in
the aptitude part of the group 4 examination. Watching YouTube videos related
to quantitative aptitude and mental aptitude help the candidate to score good
marks in the aptitude test enormously.
General Tamil
Since questions will be based
on Tamil grammar and literature the candidates should go through all the state
board Tamil books from 6 – 12 standard. Most of the candidates focus more on
general studies and fail to study the general Tamil part which is easy comparatively
and helps them to score more marks.

English is also based on the grammar part questions will be based on the noun,
pronoun, articles, and basic grammar. For general English, the candidates can
prepare by going through all the English books from 6 – 12 the standard of the
state board.
Tips to Crack Group 4 examination
• Go through
School books
To start preparing for the Group
4 exam, it is advisable, to begin with, the Tamil Nadu state board science,
social science books from 5th standard to 10th standard and Geography,
Political Science, Economics and
biology books of 11th and 12th standards.
• Collect
question papers of previous years
Candidates should go through the tnpsc
group 4 previous year question papers to get an idea about the examination.
They can test themselves using the old question papers.
• Prepare
time table
The candidates are advised to
prepare a timetable for themselves according to the subject of their interest
and the marks provided for that particular subject. They should dedicate a
certain amount of time to studying as per the timetable. 90% of the candidates
failed to follow the timetable they prepared. So if a candidate wants to score
high in the examination then they must follow the timetable.

in Group 4 exam. The candidates should prepare a timetable for themselves to
cover all the subjects both while studying and writing the exam. The candidates
should set a time limit for every subject and try completing their work within
their limit of time.
• Mock test
The main strategy for the level group 4
exam is the candidate should attend all the questions though they feel hard
they must try completing the paper. If they don’t then they are not in the
race. Practicing to write a lot of mock tests before the exam should be done. A
lot of Candidates who study well may find it difficult to complete the paper.

getting old TNPSC materials from the previous year’s candidates who got
