How to clean and care for an electric kettle?

These days, electric kettle has become an integral part of our lives as you can boil water, make coffee and prepare various recipes within a few minutes in the kettle. Cleaning your kettle

·         You can put water mixed with vinegar in the kettle and let it boil for a few minutes. After 5 minutes, you can switch off the kettle and then you need to let the mixture settle down in the kettle. After this, you can throw away the water and vinegar as your kettle would be cleaned properly.

·         For regular cleaning, you should use a good liquid utensil cleaner and with the help of soft scrub, you can clean it properly. If the stains inside kettle are not going, then you can warm up some water in the kettle and it would help you to remove that stain easily.

·         Never let any food leftover get dried in the kettle and instead you should pour warm water in it to get it cleaned as soon as possible.  

·         Fill up your electric kettle with water and let it boil for a few minutes. After it has boiled properly, you can turn it off and add one tsp of citric powder in it. You can let this mixture sit in the kettle and after 20 minutes, you can throw it away.

Precautions to take

There are certain precautions you need to take to keep your kettle clean. You should not immerse the entire kettle into the water and instead, wash the inner part of it with soapy water. You can use a sponge to clean the outer part of the kettle, but you should avoid using abrasive cleaners. If you don’t want to face accidental tipping, then you should operate it on a flat surface. If the kettle is used by your children, then it would be best to give them supervision. If possible, you can keep the kettle away from the children’s eye. If you find that kettle itself, it heating from outside during the boiling process, then you should contact the manufacturer.
