Tip 1: Fabric of the T-shirt.

T-shirt is supposed to be casual clothing. Therefore, the fabric of the clothing is very important. When you wear the shirt, it has to be very comfortable. The material that is used to produce the clothing affects the comfort of the shirt, as well as the durability of the shirt. If the fabric is of poor quality, it's likely that you can only wear the shirt once or twice. That is because the T-shirt may shrink (or stretch) after washing and becomes unwearable. Also, if the fabric feels uncomfortable on your skin, you are unlikely to pick up the shirt and wear it again the next time you go out.

T-shirts that are made from high quality fabric (preferably 100% cotton) should look nice without much ironing, and should be comfortable (cooling) to wear.

Tip 2: Cutting of the clothing.

A long time ago, people who wear T-shirts don't pay much attention to the cutting of the shirt. Comfort is everything. However, that has changed. Many people are wearing T-shirts for casual outings. And more and more young people are paying attention to fashion. In other words, the cutting of the shirt matters as well.

In general, there are two types of cutting. One still emphasizes on comfort. The wearer often wears an oversized T-shirt for comfort. But bear in mind that even for such cultures, the design has to be nice (to be discussed later).

The other group will go for more tight-fitting T-shirts. The shirt wraps firmly around the torso, showing off the curves of the body. The overall appearance looks neater.

Tip 3: Design on the T-shirt.

Finally, we come to the design of the T-shirt. For couple shirts, you are allowed to choose custom designs. Be sure you do your homework to find out what your partner likes. Otherwise, he (or she) won't want to wear the T-shirt together with you.

There are two issues the couple needs to agree on when it comes to design - colors and the actual graphical image that will be printed on the T-shirt. The graphical image can be a picture, or it can be a string of texts. Some couples prefer using texts because the message is clear and concise. There is no guesswork involved. Someone who sees the couple walking down the street wearing the T-shirts will immediately notice that they are deeply in love.

If you want to get a little creative, try browsing the images. Some images are bolder than others. The bolder graphics have brighter colors, and will tend to attract more attention. Be sure you are comfortable with that.
