How to change the Recovery settings of your AOL Mail Account?

You can enter the alternate mobile number in the section “Alternate phone” which is helpful in case something happens to your mobile phone. Click on “Add” and enter the mobile number in the box and click on “Save” once finished with this.

Step 7: Enter an alternate email address

Click on the option “Add/Edit” to open up a new box where you will be required to enter an alternate email address. Then, click on “Save”.

You will receive an email on that alternate email address you entered to verify that it is yours. Now, sign in to that email account, and click on the link you received in the email for confirmation purpose. 

Step 8: Change the security question of your Account

You can simply change it by clicking on ‘Edit’ option visible right next to the security question. Doing this will open up two boxes and the first one will let you select the question. In the drop-down menu, click on the box and find the question that suits you. Then, click on the box visible below to type in the answer to your security question. Then, click on the “Save”.

Step 9: Review your changed recovery settings

 Check if all the things you wanted to change is done properly. After that, scroll down to the bottom of the page, and click on “Done”. Now you have successfully finished the process of changing the recovery setting of your AOL Mail Account.
