How To Carry Cupcakes To An Event?

by Sam Smith Search Engine Marketing

Cupcakes are lovely tiny individual cakes that can be transported safely and securely, whether you've offered to bring them to a formal dinner for dessert or baked a dozen or 2 for someone's birthday party.

Whatever the occasion or flavor, they're still a hit with everyone, no matter how you dress them up or how you arrange them on a cake plate.

However, you do not want to take the chance of dropping or damaging even one of the cupcakes! So is it possible to transport cupcakes in such a way that they reach the same state in which they left the kitchen?

Allow demonstrating the most effective methods of carrying and transporting your cupcakes.

Use a cupcake carrier

Buying a transportable cupcake carrier is perhaps the most stress-free method of transporting your cupcakes to the location where they are required. Carriers not only protect each cupcake but may also be used to display the cupcakes once you've arrived at your destination.

Cupcake box

Purchase a cupcake box. These may be purchased readily locally or online in gourmet baking & cooking store, among other places. Some craft shops might also carry a limited variety of these items. Cupcake boxes that hold six and a dozen cupcakes are available for purchase.

Plastic container or Tupperware

When making cupcakes that are relatively little and with minimum frosting, a 913 inch Tupperware / plastic container can be used well. Place your cupcakes inside the container and secure them with the lid.

When traveling to your destination, be sure to keep the box in the horizontal position at all times.

Non-skid shelf lining

Many bakeries employ a non-skid shelf lining to keep cupcakes secure while they are being transported, which is a common practice. This paper may be found at most hardware and kitchen supply stores and on the internet.

Find a cupcake box that is not too large and tall to accommodate your cupcakes. Line the interior of the boxes with paper & arrange the cupcakes on top of it.

Make sure they're close together and not touching when you're putting them together. It will prevent the cupcakes from sliding around on the shelf liner.

Tip: Take care to find a box that is solid and sturdy enough to contain your cupcakes. Boxes that flex and droop will cause the cakes to get distorted.

Use of dot of chocolate or icing

Another option for transporting cupcakes without the need of a carrier is to cover them with frosting or melted chocolate.

Prepare a mix of icing to use as a sealant for your cupcakes. Make a liner out of parchment paper and place it inside a shallow box, making sure it doesn't slip about. Pipe a small bit of frosting onto the paper, then place the cupcake on top of the icing to complete the design.

As soon as the icing has dried, it will easily hold the muffins in place. Wouldn't want to utilize icing on your cake? If you have any chocolate candy melts on hand, you can use those instead. Simply melt a handful in the oven and use a dab of cocoa to fill in the gaps between the cupcakes instead of frosting them.

Expert tips

Cupcakes that have just been decorated are susceptible to harm. Try to finish frosting and decorating your cupcakes at least a few hours prior you need to deliver them to a destination.

If you want to transfer your cupcakes right away after icing them, put them in the refrigerator for 5 - 10 minutes before transporting them. This allows the icing to harden for a few minutes, safe for them all to travel with.
