How to Cancel Verizon Auto Pay Function?

Besides providing high speed Internet and digital telephone service, the company provides FiOS television service bundle. Also, with this service, you can enjoy streaming hundreds of movies and TV shows on your smartphone. Further, Verizon offers several other streaming television services.

Moreover, the company provides several payment options for bills that you can easily access. Not only can you pay bills online through My Verizon on the company's website or via My Verizon app, but also you can set up auto payment for paying your bills automatically from your account.

Verizon has an Auto Pay feature that allows busy subscribers to configure monthly automatic withdrawal option from their account. Not only does it save time and make payment hassle free, it makes payments on time and avoids any late fees. There might be different reasons why Verizon subscribers may want to cancel Auto Pay, such as funds availability problem or moving to another provider. No matter what the reason might be, subscribers get an option to permanently cancel their Automatic Pay services or they can choose to stop a one-time automated online payment.

Moreover, if you want to cancel or stop the automated payment service, then simply follow the below-mentioned instructions:

  • First of all, you need to set a date. While setting a date, ensure that before the next scheduled due date of bill payment there are at least 5 business days.
  • Sign in to your Verizon account for this, first visit vzw.com/autopay, then enter your credentials to login to your My Verizon account.
  • Now under the Bill section on My Verizon page, look for a link to labeled as "Manage Auto Pay", Click on this link.
  • The link “Disable Auto Pay” appears on the screen. Click on this link. A new page will appear on the screen. Now scroll down to the bottom of this page and you'll find an option labeled as "Disable Auto Pay."


Note: This option will not appear if your scheduled payment is closer. 

Once you find this option, then click on it to disable the automated payment service.
