Steps To Redeem AAdvantage Miles For American Flights
- Visit the American Airlines homepage or use the AA mobile app.
- Click on the "AAdvantage" menu & search for Award Flights by choosing to redeem your miles for one-way or round-trip tickets.
- Select Book now to view the flight schedule & no of miles required
- Enter your details like name, departure details, and no of passengers.
- Choose dates and select your class of service as the economy or business and enter
- Choose your Flight which suits your preference
- Thereafter, you will be asked to list the passengers and travel links, total miles, as well as any confirmation of the charges.
- Finally, choose the mileage award to complete your transaction.
- Once you’ve found the flight you want, call American Airlines reservations with the information for your preferred booking (1-844-414-9223). There will be a $30 phone booking fee that may be waived if you simply ask the representative.
Redeem American Miles on Partner Flights
AA miles cannot transfer to partner airlines, but you can use them to book award seats at dozens of partner airlines. Instead, you will need to make a booking directly through American Airlines.
