Play with the child in order to help them develop joint attention and turn-taking also shared interests are important to cooperate and appropriately play with toys. Emotions help everyone including a child in understanding as well as a display of their own emotions and there are ways to recognize these emotions. Empathy is very important and it plays a significant role in helping the child to understand as well as recognizing how the person on the other side feels in particular situations. Social stories must be narrated to the children these are stories which are used to teach children certain social skills and moral values which otherwise might be difficult for understanding or it might be confusing. The basic aim or goal of narrating a story is to increase the understanding by giving a detailed description of a specific situation. If a child faces difficulties with the social skills, it is often recommended they should consult for therapies like aba therapy Houston

In cases, if there are more than one areas of concern and issues both Occupational Therapy and Speech Therapy might be recommended to address the functional areas of concern. This is not only very beneficial it is effective as well.
