The Adjustment Method of Belt Deviation
1. Adjusting the direction of roller set. The conveyor belt always drifts one side, when it empty running. Under this circumstance, the method of adjusting roller is suitable. We may adjust direction of roller set on one side and keep in accordance with running direction of belt conveyor, and then the roller set on the other side should be adjusted in a opposite direction.
2. Installing the limit roller. It is possible that the medium part of conveyor belt always run deviation, in this case we should take consideration of installing limit roller to force it restoration.
But this method will possible damage the belt of conveyor and reduce service life.
3. Adjusting the tumbling barrel. For the case of running deviation on the conveyor head or conveyor tail, the better method is adjusting tumbling barrel. For the head tumbling barrel, if the belt deviation is on the right, the right bearing setting should move forward, the left bearing setting should move in the opposite direction at the same time. If it is not like this case, should move forward correspondingly.

4. Adjusting the tension device. This method is applied in two cases. If the belt running deviation is irregular, we should tense the belt on the whole; if it always runs deviation on the same side whether empty run or heavy run or not, the method can refer to “adjusting the tumbling barrel”.
5. Clearing the sticky material. During the moving forward, the roller or tumbling barrel will run deviation, if there are too much sticky material on the surface of roller and tumbling barrel, because sticky material enlarges the radius of roller and tumbling barrel, which lead to belt of conveyor running deviation. The best choice for this problem is cleaning surficial sticky material
6. Adjusting the belt. In the case of belt abrasion and degradation,which are able to effect the direction of moving forward, so we should change the new one in time.
