First elevators were designed around 3 c. BC when the Earth didn’t even know what technology is. Yet today with the fast growing industry of modern technologies, everything is a subject to change, and elevators are not an exception. There are two main parameters that are always in focus with solutions for lifting equipment, namely speed of the lift and energy consumption. No one wants to install a new elevator and then find out that the energy costs are so high that it’s literally an unprofitable improvement, right?

For this reason companies, like TRIOL Corp or Schindler Elevator Corporation, are working on designing such elevator systems that will be able to cut down on energy use and at the same time not compromise in performance. They are working on special programs that could guarantee businesses up to 40 percent energy savings. For instance, there is no need to connect the new elevators to special isolated electricity lines because the latest drive operates by using one phase and AC 220 V only.

With the help of linear and S-type rates of acceleration and deceleration the use of new elevators becomes significantly smoother and as a result more comfortable for people. There are no harsh stops, no too fast speeding that causes dizziness and discomfort. All technologies got controllable: acceleration and deceleration time and speed are up to control for every company. For example, for passenger elevators such parameters can be chosen according to human physiology; incase a company requires solutions for lifting equipment for cargo operations, the speed can be elevated to increase efficiency of this technology. Technological part of new elevators allows to have a remote control panel for each lifting system so that you can control the operation of every elevating system, in case you have several of them, remotely, separately, and without any problems. This means that such technology can not only decrease waiting times, but it will also improve the overall customer support for the passengers of every unit.
