How Software testing Companies Came and Settled in Pune?
When we consider Pune then there are numerous
stories for the software industry, which has started over here. In the
beginning phase when there was no software industry, Mumbai and nearby region
was having good presence in the services sector. It was Bangalore in the
southern part of India where IT companies first got their foot. Later on,
companies were looking to expand but Bangalore remained the most preferred
destination for years. It is considered that Gundappa Rao, who was the chief
minister of Karnataka at that time, took various measures to emerge Bangalore.
Now considering Pune, undoubtedly this is the city
which is highly populated may be more than its normal capacity. In the last few
years, it has emerged that there is decline in the growth of the city’s
population rate. What would be the reason? Reason behind this is emergence of
new cities in nearby areas like Pimpri Chinchwad etc. Maharashtra government
has always tried to enhance Pune as a city with development in the IT sector.
Pune owns numerous IT companies which deal in software development and testing and
they are doing good. India has some major destinations in the field of software
development and testing and those names are Bangalore, Delhi NCR, Hyderabad,
Pune, Kolkata etc.
We would like to appreciate Vilasrao Deshmukh, Ajit Pawar and other leaders who brought investment in the Pune and city emerged as one of the major names for offshore services. IT exports from Karnataka and Maharashtra has increased considerably especially in the last decade. We wish Pune to emerge further and explore new heights.
