Three types of PKD are mentioned below:

Autosomal dominant PKD – It is also called as adult PKD because the symptoms of this disease develop later in life, between the ages of 30 and 40 years. Some researches state that ADPKD accounts for 90% of PKD cases. If anyone in your family is having this disorder, then you have 50% chance of developing this condition. In rare cases, ADPKD may occur in childhood.

Autosomal recessive PKD – It is the less common type of PKD because in this type of PKD, both the parents carry the mutated gene. Individuals, who are the carriers of the ARPKD gene, won’t have any symptoms. Mainly four types of ARPKD are as follows:

• Perinatal form is present at birth.
• Neonatal form occurs within the first month of birth
• Infantile form occurs when your child is 3 to 12 months old
• Juvenile form occurs after your child is 1 year old or greater than 1

Mostly symptoms of ARPKD arise at the time of birth or in rare cases when your child goes in adolescence. From Ayurvedic treatment for PKD, you can eliminate the root cause of this disease without any side-effect on any organ of your body.
