Summary

Learning is a continuing process that takes place all over life. When we think about the learning, it seems easy that to fall into the trap of only allowing for the formal education that takes place during childhood to adulthood.

Learning became the major focus of study in the twentieth century and in the present day learning become a significant idea in the different areas of thinking like educational, cognitive, social and developmental. One of the important thing in learning that it can include both helpful and negative behaviours. Learning is the natural and everlasting part of the life so, sometimes people learn that thing which can make their life full of knowledge and they can lead better lives and sometimes people learn those detrimental things which can become harmful to their health and career.

How does Learning Happen?

The learning process of new things is not always the same. Learning can happen everywhere because there is a wide variety of ways but we have some factors that can explain you how does learning happen.

Classical Condition of Learning

Learning by family is one of the basic ways that people learn basic things and this learning is known as the classical learning because it happens by the formation of association and in this stage, we learn basic things like language, ethics, cultural values, and other fundamental things.

Operant Condition Learning

The values of our action can also play an important role in defining that how and what we learn. When something suddenly and immediately hits behaviors it may rise or fall the probability that the performance will happen again in the future and this process mentioned as an operant condition.

Observation Learning

Although classical and operant condition can explain the many examples of learning, we can suddenly think the conditions where we learned something without any conditional and that is called observational learning, when we just observed something and give our full concentration on it, we learn so many things by just observing and there is no condition is applied.

An aspect of these factors we have also seven styles of learning, the above factors are constant and they can be applied on everyone but no one has the same style of learning every person have a different style, some people learn visually and some are verbally so we have seven styles of learning they all are as under.

(SPATIAL) Visual learning

Visual learners prefer pictures, colors, and other visual media to learn, they use colorful layouts and spatial organization in their association and they can also use many visual words in their assertions. If someone replaces words with pictures and uses colors to highlight the major and minor links, the visual learners can easily and rapidly learn anything.

(AUDITORY MUSICAL) Aural Learning

The aural learners prefer to using sounds and music in learning, they mainly use the sound recordings it can help them to visualisation of the background. They learn quickly in form of music or sound.

(LINGUISTIC) Verbal learning

The Verbal learners prefer words both in speaking and writing, they try to use most of the word based techniques such as statements and scripting. The verbal learners easily learn when they see the things in words form.

(MATHEMATICAL) Logical Learning

The logical learners prefer logic, reasoning, and system to understand the concept. The always find the reason behind the learning and they have a good ability to understand the concept of detailed things.

(INTERPERSONAL) Social Learning

Social learners prefer to learn in groups or with other people. They always enjoy learning with people and always aim to work with others as much as possible.

(INTRAPERSONAL) Solitary Learning

The solitary learners always prefer to learn alone and always use self-study. They don’t feel comfortable and feel hesitate in the group. They easily learn alone and they can think freely on the topics.
