  1. Economic Immigration Fees

There are 4 key economic immigration programs in Canada - Express Entry Program, Quebec Skilled Workers, Provincial Nominee Programs, and Atlantic Immigration Pilot Programs. You would be required to pay the following fees:

  • Application Processing Fees: INR 51,642 (CAD 850)
  • Right of Permanent Residence Fee: INR 31,289 (CAD 515)
  • Include a Dependent Child: INR 13,974 (CAD 230) per child

  1. Family Sponsorship Processing Fees

If you wish to sponsor a family member with you under Canada’s Family Sponsorship Programs you would need to pay the following fees:

  • Application Fees:
  • Spouse or Common-law partner: INR 68,656 (CAD 1135) 
  • Dependent Child: INR 9,376 (CAD 155) per child

  1. Business Immigration Fees

If you wish to immigrate to Canada as an Entrepreneur, Investor, or Self-employed professional, you would be required to pay the following fees:

  • Application Fees:
  • Principal Applicant: INR 98,296 (CAD 1625)
  • Spouse or Common-law partner: INR 51,642 (CAD 230) + Principal Applicant Fees
  • Dependent Child: INR 13,974 (CAD 230) per child + Principal Applicant Fees

  1. Language Proficiency Test Fees

You will need to obtain the minimum IELTS score for Canada PR from India, whilst demonstrating your language proficiency in English (TEF for French). The IELTS Test Fees is INR 15,500 (CAD 250) and the test report is valid for 2 years. 

  1. ECA Fees

To meet Canadian education standards, you will need to get your academic credentials assessed by a regulatory body such as WES. An Education Credential Assessment (ECA) will cost you around INR 13,900 – INR 19,750 (CAD 226 – CAD 322). 

  1. Medical Test Fees

You will need to get a medical certificate through a medical examination – showcasing that you are in good condition to travel to Canada. This will cost you around INR 4,300 (CAD 70).

  1. Police Clearance Fees

Police Clearance Certificates are required to prove that you hold no criminal background. A PCC will cost you INR 615 (CAD 11). 

  1. Biometric Fees

The cost of biometrics for Canada PR from India is INR 5,213 (CAD 85). 

  1. Proof of Funds

You must also establish that you have the minimum required funds to maintain yourself and any accompanying family members in Canada. Candidates seeking the following immigration programs must show proof of financial resources:

·         Federal Skilled Worker Program
·         Federal Skilled Trades Program

These funds are not included in the total cost for Canada PR from India. Instead, they are evidence that you will be able to support yourself and your family during your first few years in Canada. This is done in order to reduce the amount of money spent on social assistance and healthcare programs.

For each additional family member - CAD$ 3,560 (INR 2,09,215)

The above-mentioned Canadian immigration costs of Canada PR from India are calculated on the number of family members accompanying you. The funds will be utilized to help:

  • Yourself
  • Your dependent children
  • Your accompanying spouse or common-law partner


You need to have the demonstrated proof of funds with you at all times. As a result, you won't be able to produce proof of funds in the form of borrowed funds, equity, or real estate.
