How marijuana is effective against heroin and opiate addiction?

by Pot Valet Online Marijuana Delivery

Marijuana in California is gaining ground in the field of medicine as researchers are finding more uses. Its most common medical uses include relief of chronic pain for people suffering with serious diseases such as cancer and multiple sclerosis, but many people don’t know it can be used to help overcome heroin and chronic addiction.

Marijuana in Heroin and Opioids Addiction Detoxification

Traditionally, opioids were extracted from the poppy of a plant known as opium. But these day they can be modified from a plant in a lab or be fully synthetic.

They are used in treatment of pain after surgery or from serious injury. These drugs work by inhibiting pain receptors to reduce pain in patients. Opioids are meant to reduce pain but some people end up abusing them and get addicted, which can have serious negative effects on their health.

People who want to quit opioid addiction can manage to do it in approximately a week, but the psychological withdrawal symptoms which include agitation, anxiety, and insomnia can turn someone into a wreck of a person. And this is where pot comes to the rescue.

Studies show cannabis is very effective in helping people quick from opioid addiction. It helps alleviate the withdrawal symptoms such as nausea, extreme back pain, lack of sleep, and restless legs. Marijuana is often prescribed by doctors to recovering addicts.

Many patients say as much as marijuana is less effective at relieving their pain, it significantly helps them become less occupied with their discomfort and they can ignore it.

In the withdrawal process, weed helps in two major ways; combating the physical withdrawal systems patients experience, and use alongside opioids to reduce overreliance on opiates for pain relief.

While there are thousands of opiate overdose causalities in the US, no weed overdose casualties have ever been reported.

The most commonly prescribed drugs for addicts that are trying to quit are clonidine, methadone, Buprenorphine, and naltrexone. The problem with all of these drugs is they are addictive opioids that may end up creating more harm than good. The problem with man-made drugs is they have a huge potential for unwanted symptoms for their use.

Marijuana is non-addictive and has no scientifically proven side effects. Pot has two main active ingredients, TCH (psychoactive) and CBD (non-psychoactive).

An online marijuana has at least 400 ingredients and of all of them, only THC can make someone high. Better still, scientists have discovered methods to grow and process weed without THC which means it can be 100 percent medicine.

The CBD in weed could be reliable in pain management as it has no of the side effects of the other drugs that can be used to help someone unhook from opiate addiction. Weed is medically proven to help with opiate detoxification.

The detoxification process is very complicated but can be explained in a simple process. CBD changes the composition of the brain, so quitting opiate addicts no longer have cravings for the substances. It also improves the whole body’s healing systems and corrects the underlying disease.

Quitting drugs is an achievement you can take pride in but you may have to battle cravings when you go it by yourself.
