How Flights to Las Vegas Help You Enjoy Exciting Activities

by Daisy Wilkinson Travel Guides

While you're in Las Vegas, you'll be spoilt for choice when it comes to entertainment. This city in the Nevada state of the United States of America (USA) has a range of interesting choices in elegant themed resorts, casinos, options in entertainment, and other exciting places. It, therefore, doesn't come as a surprise that many tourists from different parts of the world visit this city every year to explore its diverse attractions. Besides exploring some of the greatest entertainment hotspots, you can also indulge in some thrilling activities during your time spent in this part of the USA.

You can save a significant amount while booking your flights to Las Vegas and utilise the savings made to enjoy some of these adventures. One of them is a helicopter ride to the Grand Canyon, which not only allows you to witness some breath-taking aerial views of the city but also gives you the chance to savour the mesmerising sights of the canyon from above. However, opt for this tour only if you have the entire day for exploration as the ride to the Grand Canyon may take more than 6 hours. You can also take a shorter ride over Las Vegas if you've got a limited amount of time for the day.

Another great way to enjoy the views of the Las Vegas Strip and its surrounding areas from greater heights is to take a ride in the High Roller Ferris Wheel located on the far end of the Linq promenade. It has been the tallest Ferris wheel in the world ever since it was opened to the public in 2014. This Ferris wheel has 28 cabins and each of them can carry 40 individuals. After sunset, the wheel lights up with 2,000 LED lights, which make the Ferris wheel look even more attractive. It takes about half-an-hour for it to complete one full rotation and has custom displays for holidays and special occasions.

Take a tour of the Las Vegas night lights that would allow you to explore the Fremont Street Experience, which is a pedestrian mall located in the downtown area of Las Vegas. Abbreviated as FSE, it occupies the five westernmost blocks of Fremont Street and is a place for the great visual show of LED lights, street performers, and other forms of entertainment. The central attraction at this particular spot is a barrel vault canopy, which gives visitors the chance to witness great visuals combined with music overhead. All the performances and concerts are free for visitors.

Vegas Indoor Skydiving is one of the most unique and thrilling experiences you'll get to enjoy while holidaying in this American city. Without flying in a plane and jumping off from greater heights, you can get a feel of actual skydiving. Once the propeller is turned on, the air begins to flow and you find yourself floating in the air and experiencing a free fall. You'll get the required equipment for the activity at this facility. The basic training required for it would also be provided by experienced instructors.
