You should then bring both ends of the tape around to the front and have them meet at the top of the breastbone. It is important for you to allow the tape to follow the natural contours of the body. Do not allow it to be too lose or too tight or it could impact the size of your bra. If you have an even number measurement, that is your band size. If the measurement is an odd number, add one inch.

Your cup size should also be measured while wearing an unpadded bra. You can leave the tape directly under the clasp at the bra strap but measure around the fullest area of the bust. Make sure that you do not pull the tape too tight or keep it too lose, as that will impact the size that you choose. Using the measurement from your cup size, subtract the measurement from your band size. This will give you your cup measurement. You can use a chart, many of which are available online to help you determine your cup size according to your cup measurement. If the difference is less than 1/2" inch, you have a cup size of AAA.

Wearing the right size bra can make you more comfortable and can certainly make you look your best. Settling for a bra that does not fit is going to cause a number of problems. It may cut into your skin because it is too tight or you may constantly have to pull the straps up because they are too loose. Take the time to measure yourself properly and purchase a quality bra from the manufacturer that cares for smaller bust size.
