How Are TMT Bars Prepared For Construction Projects?

The term Fe denotes iron and D shows that the bars come with higher ductile properties. Higher amounts of sulfur can cause cold shortness and make the steel very brittle which even with the slightest vibration can break easily.

They also suffer from hot shortness in the presence of sulfur in the TMT bars and the melting point of steel also lowers causing failure under high temperature or pressure conditions. The overall carbon percentage in these metal bars is also kept very low to promote weld ability and ductility of steel.
