We all know that the hand blender is a lightweight kitchen appliance whereas the mixer grinder (mixie) is a heavy kitchen appliance. Both have specific use. But, the technological advancements have made the hand blender capable-enough to perform some of the tasks that only a mixie can perform.

So, in this article, I’m about to tell you how you can avoid wasting money on the mixer grinder when the hand blender can do the same very easily.

First of all, If you are unaware about the jobs of both kitchen appliances, then let me describe you. The hand blender is used for blending of two or more liquids primarily. The mixer grinder, also known as the mixie, is used primarily for grinding and mixing of two of more substances. In addition to that, with the help of accessories, it can chop vegetables, knead dough, and also make smoothies.

For making of smoothies, no need of any extra accessories. You can do it in the bowl also. However, for the sake of better results, the blades shouldn’t be too short. If short, then there could be ungrated or partly ungrated parts of food found.

For chutney making, the crusher blades can do the job very easily. No need any extra blades or accessories.
