The pressure the pads feel will be translated, processed and converted into a mechanical output which causes the wheels to stop and go, depending on the foot orientation.

You might ask “Okay, I see, but how is it different from all other mobility device, such as the Segway from before?”, “Why is it so popular that even celebrity uses it?” Well, the main difference it has compared to the Segway, which is introduced last 2001, is that it is much slimmer. Portable enough as it does not include any handle bars to hold on to, unlike the Segway. It also has much more mobility since its movements are much more fluid. The wheels are much smaller, and friendlier to look at. And, much, much cooler, because it comes at different style and color. A selling factor when it comes to our youth today. That’s what made it so popular as well. Also well-advertised as these devices are also used by some TV shows to incorporate to their program choreography. The fame of this device can’t be stopped.
