The security monitoring system did not work. The thief broke in to your house or place of business. And the police got to your home or business within 3 or 4 minutes. Maybe even the thief was caught. What did you find when you first looked at the break in? No property or items stolen and you say, "Thank God for that small favor".

But now you are looking at the broken windows, door damages and who knows what else. Who pays for this expense? The security monitoring service won't. That is your expense and that can be an expense you will never forget. For some home owners, they will have to take out a short term loan or worse yet use high percentage credit cards to pay for this.

If you are good at fixing things like this that is great but if you are not, you end up calling several companies for estimates. And wow you did not know that labor is so costly. You find out the estimate is so high priced. Sometimes that price can be as much as $5000. You have to get it repaired because if you do not you are just inviting other thieves to do their Christmas shopping early in the season.

These security monitoring services do keep the honest person honest but eventually some burglar will break in. How can you stop all of this? Is there a real answer to all of this craziness?

The answer is simple and easy to install. A device called a barking dog alarm. Most of these barking dog alarms are multifunctional alarm systems that uses an electronic radar-wave sense control. This technology allows it to "see" through wood, cement, brick, glass, etc. When an intruder enters the guarded area, it automatically begins barking like an angry dog. From outside, it sounds like you have a very unfriendly dog inside. I know if I heard a sound that sounded like an angry, I would do an about face and find some other house or business to rob.

The radar sensitivity is adjustable. The cheaper models are about 5-10 feet and the more expensive models from 10-20 feet. And of course t he volume is also adjustable. A lot of the models are powered by AC power supply. The cheaper models use 8 AA backup batteries. I would recommend changing these batteries out every month or so. The best models are powered by AC power supply with rechargeable batteries being charged continuously. This is a great feature if the AC power ever went out.

No matter which model is chose the unit needs to face in the direction you want to detect motion. Detection is limited from the sides and rear. Most all the models available on the market include remote control which lets you Arm and Disarm the system, as well as set off a Panic alarm. With the more expensive models, additional sensors and additional speckers can be added.
