High Speed Metal Cutting Band Saw machine categorization

In metal cutting firms or Industries, it is not suitable to use handsaw tool in the current scenario, because of mass production. High-speed metal cutting machines are favored by the workers to acquire desired shape and length of the metal piece.  These machines are faster and easier to handle and are used principally to produce an accurate square or mitered cut on the work-piece. 

The Power hacksaw and the Band saw are two common type of machines preferred in industries.  Metal cutting band saw machines available in two basic categories Vertical and Horizontal. 

Vertical band saw machine also called contour machine, is made in a variety of sizes and models by several manufacturers.  Horizontal band saw machine does the same job as power hack saw but does it more efficiently. These machines use a continuous band type blade.  A drive wheel, an idler wheel support, and adjustable drive the blade around. 

On horizontal bandsaws, the blade is lowered onto the workpiece to be cut.  If you want to do angular cut on metal get a miter cutting saw or if you want to cut large pipes and structurals and need straight cut than consider a Double bandsaw machine. Vertical bandsaw is mostly used to cut metal in round and designer shapes.

These machines eliminate and minimize the secondary machining operations. In addition, we get accurate and precise cutting. Most of the manufacturers also provide automated solution with an electronic controller. On the mounting basis, the bandsaws can be classified into Manually operated, semi-automated and fully automated. Some other types of bandsaw classification include pivot type, miter cutting, and plate sawing machines.
