Gurgaon has been taking a huge leap in terms of improving its facilities and opportunities for more number of people in the past 10 years. Gurgaon has started focussing on the development of the city by drawing a lot of people by providing employment opportunities in the field of IT, BPO and other marketing sectors. As Gurgaon is drawing a huge bunch of crowd from every corner of the world, the demand for more educational institutions is increasing exceptionally. Medical colleges used to attract a lot of attention from students, but people have slowly started switching to get admitted in non-medicals in Gurgaon because of various opportunities for the non-medical students. These colleges are usually demanding in terms of marks, rank, and fees because the profession carries a huge amount of money as remuneration. There are other professions these days, which lets people make money similar to a medical profession.

Advantages of joining a non-medical college

Diversified growth options:

Only a doctor would not be able to switch his or her profession, as it would be a waste of time and loss of pride. A non-medical student can switch his profession based on the demand and requirement, this helps people to make use of the market and explore more options to grow further. As we see a lot of engineering and other field students are changing their professions because of lack of growth, it is important to be versatile to adapt the innovation and the new technology.

The time taken for the course is less:

Most of the medical students would have to spend a span of 7 – 8 years to become a certified and a settle doctor, as the course takes 5 years and a span of 2 years in an internship. It is important to do a specialization, as most of the health care centres hire doctors based on the specialization. A specialization may take another 2 years to be completed successfully. As not everybody would be able to afford such a long time to finish their education and internship, it is advised to take up a non-medical course to start the professional career at the earliest. A non- medical course could take anywhere between 4 – 5 years to establish yourself to a settled career. A professional career started early helps people to grow quickly and easily.

Expensive to complete a medical course:

As non-medical courses can take almost at the half of medical courses, most of the people prefer to go with a non-medical course because of a cash crunch. A decent Medical course in an average medical college in Gurgaon could anywhere cost you between 50 – 80 lakhs, but an engineering course can be completed anywhere between 8 – 10 lakhs in an average college.

Requires too much patience and hard work

Besides advantages, Medicine is also one of the most complicated courses. It takes a span of 5 years for completion with specialization. Medical students require a lot of dedication and focus on completing, as it is considered as one of the most complicated courses ever in the education field. A non medical college in Gurgaon can get you a decent result with the help of above average students, but a medical college would be in need of excellent students to get an average result.

Joining a non-medical college to pursue education can be of a great help in terms of opportunities, growth, and remuneration on a long run and on a short run. It is important to choose the right course based on your marks, ranks, capabilities and financial stability, as most of the medical courses are very expensive in nature.
