The Toyota FJ Cruiser is a five-door retro-styled mid-size SUV that was first introduced in 2003 and started production in 2006. It comes with a 5 seater and entered the Japanese market on 4 December 2010.

The FJ Cruiser comes with a 4.0L 1GR-FE DOHC VVT-i V6 engine for the 2007-2009 model years. For the 2010 model, it comes mated with double VVT-I technology resulting in more power and economy put together. The exterior features a grille-headlight with a stocky frame layout and rear-opening access doors that give a distinctive look to the SUV.

The second generation of the FJ Cruiser entered the market in 2011 with a 4.0L 1GR-FE V6 DOHC engine powered by two transmission options: 5-Speed Automatic rear-wheel-drive and 6-speed manual 4-wheel drive models. The redesigned headlights attached to the front grille and taillights give a sporty look. Also include Alloy rims and a spare tire hold at the back door that gives the vehicles a good look.

Interior

The FJ Cruiser interior features focused on enhancing off-road practicality and can accommodate 5 passengers in relative comfort. All interior surfaces are made up of washable rubber materials for fast cleaning after heavy outdoor use and also incorporate extra-large controls to help drivers with gloved hands. The compass, inclinometer, and temperature, as well as the 110-volt rear outlet, were carried over from the FJ Cruiser concept vehicle as options on the final production model. The space in the driver’s cabin has an elevated position to view the road well and the passenger’s cabin is decent enough to accommodate an adult with an excellent high roof which makes it more relaxing.

The cabin has some storage space that includes cup holders, a storage tray on the center box, and door jacket pockets with bottle holders. The FJ cruiser also offers excellent boot space to carry much luggage. The 2nd-row seats can be folded into the floor creating a very large boot space capable of accommodating lots of luggage.
