So, don’t go to sleep on that 6 inch mattress like this, utilize it for a better purpose.

But have you ever heard of Meditation while lying on the bed? Yes, you heard it right! Well if you are not getting time but still meditate and help yourself getting perfect mental health then get yourself ready to learn how you can meditate while lying on the bed.

  1. The most essential part of this meditation is the way you lay down on your bed. It is always advised to lie in a Corpse Position. You should always choose a broad surface, which is bigger than your body so that you can feel like you are floating while you are meditating. A broad surface like a mattress or giant bed allows your body to expand and lose as much as it wants without worrying.
  2. While you lie down, your spine should be in a straight line, which is exactly parallel to the bed or the mattress. Just remember that your spine is a chain that has been put on the floor and all your body weight is on it. So it becomes essential to choose the perfect surface which is 6 inch mattress, it is recommended to get a foam mattress as it provides the best support to your spine.
  3. Now, the second most important step is keeping your legs apart at hip distance. This helps in maintaining a good posture and provides relief to your back.
  4. Keep your palm towards the sky open and your hands should be spread out almost one foot away from each of your hip. This helps in balancing both the left and right sides of your body.
  5. If you are meditating for mental wellness, then look up straight without losing your mind, just don’t focus on anything, you have to look up. While if you are meditating for sleep, and then close your eyes. After this place the tip of your tongue on the roof of your mouth and be like that.
  6. Now it is the time to flex the muscles of both legs tightly by lifting them up and then bringing them down. Don’t move your legs and let them be wherever they are, as the muscles adjust themselves by doing this.
  7. It is the time when your body is relaxed, now all you have to do is, concentrate your mind and repeat “let’s be happy”. For doing this, take a deep breath in and out 3 times and after that breathe regularly asking the question.

If you are meditating for mental health, then remember to keep your eyes closed and all the brain at the center, while if you are doing this for sleeping, keep your eyes closed and you will wake up the next day with positive energy.
