Hayley Atwell made a confident appearance after the first night of her new play The Pride, wearing a gorgeous purple DSQUARED² peplum dress that hugged her curvy figure to perfection and the New Era Hats Cheap .
The 31-year old actress had just come off the Trafalgar Studio stage, after making her debut as Sylvia in the Olivier-award winning play directed by Jamie Lloyd.
However in this new revival, the cast did something different than previous productions, by using the stage to share their support of the LGBT movement in Russia following the homophobic demonstrations and attacks taking place in the country.
Together they make up the four-person cast of Alexi Kaye Campbell's British drama, which follows a 'a complex love triangle which spans over half a century, living and loving simultaneously in 1958 and the present against a background of changing attitudes towards homosexuality.'
The play first premiered at the Royal Court Theatre in 2008 where the roles of Phillip, Oliver and Sylvia were played by Bertie Carvel, J.J. Feild and Lyndsey Marshal.
But now, five years later, Jamie Lloyd has revived the award-winning play for a new London audience after it's turn off-Broadway with Andrea Riseborough, Hugh Dancy and Ben Whishaw under the direction of Joe Mantello.

In keeping with the vintage style of the outfit, Atwell wore her hair in a side parting, with her locks styled in waves down one shoulder.
Hayley was joined after the show by her co-stars Harry Hadden-Paton (Posh, She Stoops To Conquer, Flare Path), Al Weaver (Inadmissible Evidence, Coram Boy, Hamlet) and Gavin And Stacey star Mathew Horne
