so on that effect, small amount or none of the public willing to pay any amount to use social media platform, so eventually social media company has to introduce paid ads that benefit both ways to company and consumer.

The consumer can use platform for free and the company can spend money on ads to promote their products and services to gain market share, revenue, sale and ultimately profit. And social media platform company spend money o better UI and new features.

so it's very difficult to think about social media without advertising in the current time.
