Harry Potter: Wizards Unite Everything About Portkeys

If you are a fan of the Harry Potter universe, then you will be familiar with Portkey (in part 4, the Goblet of Fire, the shoe when they went to watch the final Quidditch match at the starting of the movie and the Tri-Wizard Cup at the last of the film).

So in simple words, Portkeys are anodyne objects that can take you to different places in a very less amount of time when the personal touch it. But in the game Harry Potter: Wizards Unite, these Portkeys can be obtained inside of the Portmanteaus ( it can be seen in the map). These can be unlocked by simply walking up to them. When you touch those, you will be transported to a location where you can search for new Foundable.

When you start to wander around the world, you can observe a lot of Portmanteaus of a different kind. They appear on the map in the shape of a rectangle topped with a pyramid-like a shape. These can be found as other things like traces and Ingredients. In this game, there are four kinds of Portmanteaus provided, named as Prized, Paramount, Precious, and Brilliant. These items require a fixed amount of distance to be covered to unlock these Portkeys with the keys.

A single player’s inventory can hold only 8 Portmanteaus at a single time, but you don’t know the size of Portmanteaus until you add it into your own inventory, but only Brilliant Portmanteaus are the only one which looks different in the maps. The only other thing to mention is that it exists only in Brilliant Events. Players get a notification on the app when these Portkeys are ready for the players.

A player can also use Barrufio’s Brain Elixir potion, and this potion allows players to open a number of Portkeys consecutively.

Just having a Portmanteau is not enough, the player has to have the keys to access the Portkeys. Every player gets a Golden key at the very start of the game. This key is reusable on many Portmanteaus. It never disappears or breaks. As the player goes along with the game and keeps leveling up, they receive Silver Keys. These silver keys are only good to use once. There is another option of gaining The Silver Keys, and that is the purchase from Diagon Alley.

The best way to use a Silver Key is for the 10km and 5km Portmanteaus and the Gold key for the 2km Portmanteaus. By the mentioned tactic, players can use Golden Key in a more frequent manner and able to open more Portmanteaus.

Now the portal is going to open and take you to the location of that is connected to that Portkey ( such as Ollivander’s Wand Shop, Hagrid’s Hut, Borgin and Burke’s, and Ministry of Magic.) After reaching that new location, you have to find the 5 Wrackspurts hiding in there, somewhere. These Wrackspurts are little sparkling orbs. To collect, these players have to click on them. These Wrackspurts give targets to find, which will be pretty random (like the player can find XP, ingredients, or any items). After collecting every Wrackspurt, the player will see a window that will display all the rewards along with XP and items ( that player received from the Wrackspurts). Players will get a Foundable for their registry too.
