The information age is on. The Internet has changed the way you promote yourself as an artist, grow your audience, showcase your music, and let the world know about your skills.

Despite the opportunity, it’s incredibly hard for a new musician to sell music, tunes, or any of those awesome audible pieces you produce.

According to David McCandless’s Infographic published on The Guardian [http://www.theguardian.com/technology/2015/apr/03/how-much-musicians-make-spotify-itunes-youtube], it takes about 172,206 plays on Google Play, about the same number on, Tidal (Formerly WIMP), and a whopping 663,158 and 420,000 plays on Rhapsody and beats respectively.

All that to just get an average U.S monthly wage of $1,260. That’s just U.S

For the rest of the world, it’s even harder for musicians to promote and earn from music. Surprisingly, this is during the times of YouTube, Spotify, Rhapsody, and many others. Either you make it big on any of those music platforms, or you don’t belong. What do you do as long as you don’t get to the top?

As a musician, you owe yourself the responsibility to maximize your digital presence to ensure maximum exposure to your music, your skills, and your career as a musicians.

Thankfully, India is still virgin. It hasn’t woken up on on the supply side (musicians selling songs, music, tunes, audio notes, etc.) yet.
