Happy Pregnancy Diet

Are you a supporter of a healthy lifestyle, or, conversely, are accustomed to not denying yourself in anything? Now you, first of all, the future mother. During pregnancy, it's time to switch to proper nutrition. An article gives a few simple and useful recommendations that will help you not only to fully eat, but also to diversify your diet!


WHAT IS THE RIGHT FOOD

Your baby needs certain substances for healthy development and growth. Therefore, your daily menu should consist of products that contain them. To be afraid of the word "diet" is not necessary - you do not have to starve! A balanced diet for pregnant women is useful and diverse. We promise that you will like it!


FUNDAMENTAL RULES

Here are a few recommendations, adhering to which you can be sure of the full provision of your baby with all the necessary substances.


  • Do not starve

A little snack between the main meals. Drink a day at least 8 glasses of water without gas. However, consult about the amount of fluid consumed with the doctor, since excess water in the body can cause edema.


  • Diversify your menu

Combine products from different food groups: carbohydrates, proteins, fats, vitamins and minerals, fiber. However, do not forget that you must combine them correctly!


  • Consume fresh juices

The juicer is an indispensable thing both during pregnancy and after childbirth (for cooking your baby).


  • Include soup in the diet 

Soups promote good digestion, are easily digested and rich in nutrients. You can cook soups on a secondary meat and vegetable broth.


  • Eat sour-milk products

Dairy products are indispensable if you want to improve digestion. In addition, they are very tasty. Choose kefir, yogurt, sour cream, fermented baked milk, curdled milk with reduced fat content. Eat cheese, because it contains a lot of calcium, but make sure it is also low-fat.


  • Do not give up meat

Preference should be given to low-fat varieties of meat. Remove the skin from the bird, cook the steaks for a couple. Avoid the use of sausages and sausages. This will help control the normal weight gain during pregnancy.


  • Do not exclude from the menu fish

Fish and seafood are one of the main sources of high-grade proteins and omega-3 fatty acids. Also, the fish contains phosphorus, which plays an important role in the formation of the bone tissue of your baby. It should be cooked for a couple or bake, do not use fried fish.


  • Eat eggs

Eggs will provide your body with the necessary amount of protein. Use them cooked or in the form of an omelet. Try not to eat more than 3-4 eggs a week.


  • Turn on the vegetable oil in the menu

Vegetable oils are rich in polyunsaturated fatty acids, which are necessary for the body to build cell membranes and other biologically active substances. You can fill salads with olive, sunflower, corn or linseed oil.


  • Limit the consumption of sugar and salt

Give up canned foods that contain a lot of salt and contribute to the accumulation of excess fluid in the body - this causes swelling. In addition, excessive intake of salt can lead to atherosclerosis and hypertension. Replace salt with spices and aromatic herbs. As for the consumption of sweet, give preference to jam and jelly with low sugar content, rolls and chocolate replace with fruits, nuts, and dried fruits.


  • Coffee can!

It is not necessary to completely refuse coffee during pregnancy. Just do not make it too strong - it can badly affect the nervous system of your baby. In addition, use coffee moderately, as excessive consumption threatens dehydration, promotes the washing away of calcium from the body and can cause overexcitation.


  • Without iron - anywhere!

To maintain the required level of hemoglobin in the blood, including in the diet foods rich in iron: eggs, fish, meat and poultry, dried fruits, whole grains cereals and bread, green lettuce leaves. It is best to use iron together with vitamin C, because it promotes better digestion. The main sources of vitamin C: citrus, cabbage, sweet pepper, greens and black currant.
