Halloween Costume Ideas for Kids

by Lauren Moss professional online store
Halloween is just around the corner, and it’s time to start thinking about your kids’ awesome costumes. Whether you have a teenager who wants to scare the neighbourhood or an adorable toddler who needs to be even cuter than ever, you can get everything you need at your local kids’ toys store WA.
Spooky Spider

To make a spooky spider, you only need a few things, and you can get them at your Costumes Dress Up Toys Store Perth:

Long-sleeved black shirt
Black stocking cap
Two pairs long black socks
Black duct tape
Large wiggly eyes
Plastic grocery bags
If you have a black hoodie, you can use that in place of the shirt and cap.
Fill the socks with grocery bags and attach them to the shirt spider-style with duct tape. Stick 8 googly eyes to the hat or hood. For a little added fun, use yarn to tie the “legs” together with space between so the four extra legs move with your kids’ arms.
So easy! Now you have a cute (or scary) spider costume!
Adorable Minion
Minions are still popular, and you don’t need much to make the costume.
Denim dungarees
Yellow shirt
Yellow beanie or stocking cap
For this costume, all you have to do is dress up your little one. If you have a Minions cap or can add an eye to the cap – even better. And if you want to go all out, get some goggles!
Magical Unicorn
Everyone loves unicorns, so what better costume could there be?
White pants and top
Unicorn headband
Multi-coloured yarn
There’s only one thing you need to make for this costume: the tail! Cut several lengths of the yarn and tie them together. Then, attach the new tail to the back of the white pants with either duct tape or a needle and get dressed.
If you want to make it extra-special, use paint or an applique to add designs to the white body of the unicorn.
Lovable Dalmatian
Everyone loves dogs! It’s easy to make your child into a Dalmatian.
White t-shirt
White towel
Black marker
Bobby pins (to attach ears to hair)
Draw ears and a tail on the fuzzy towel, and then cut them out. Now, all you need to do is draw dots on the ears, tail, and t-shirt. Attach the tail to your child’s pants and the ears to her hair. Your child is instantly transformed into the cutest puppy on the block!
Your child’s Halloween costume doesn’t need to be expensive – or difficult. With just a few minutes, you can create the perfect costume.
