Let's take a look at three great ideas for kids half-term days out in and around the United Kingdom:
1) HIGHLANDS SAFARIS - PERTHSHIRE: If you live in Scotland, you could take your little animals to, well, see the big animals at Highlands Safari. The highlands, offers a great visual spectacle - but with the added bonus of being in a Land Rover 4x4 trawling through muddy tracks exploring the natural environment - with a few unnatural creatures roaming the open peaks. Other activities for kids include gold panning - they could just fund the entire trip? A full bike track for off-road mountain biking, for the teenagers, and more humanely a novice track for families and young children. Full children's cafe with nappy changing facilities and a fully stocked shop will keep the little animals quiet as they roam the Highlands Safari.
