Method 1: Change WIFI Password using My Verizon

You can access your Verizon Fios Quantum Gateway or Verizon Fios Advanced router account by visiting the My Verizon page. Follow these steps to make changes:

 

1.  You can edit the credentials at any time by clicking on 'Save' once you are finished editing.

2.  Hover over services, click on the 'Internet,' then click on 'My Network.' Then click on a network and select 'Manage.' 

3.  Once you have entered the new credentials, click on 'Save' to save.

4.  In the pop-up that appears, you need to enable WIFI access so that you can manage your settings since the Verizon password has been changed. If the WIFI access is disabled, you must enable it.

 

Method 2: Changing Verizon Password Using My Fios App

With a Verizon Fios Advanced Router or Fios Quantum Gateway, you can change the router password using the My Fios app. You can go through the below steps to change your password using My Fios:

 

1.  From the My Fios app, select 'Internet' and then click on 'My Networks.' Now, from 'My Networks,' select the network you wish to modify.

2.  You are required to enter your desired username and password. If you do not have access to WIFI, you must enable it by selecting Enable Private Wi-Fi access.

 

Method 3: Change Verizon Password Manually/ Using the Router Label

For those without the Fios Quantum or Verizon Fios Advanced router, you can change WIFI password Verizon manually from the label on your router. Please follow these steps to change your wi-fi name and/or password: 

 

1.  If you are using a browser, type 192.168.1.1 in the search box and enter your username and password to need to sign in. The default username and password are found on your router's label.

2.  Whenever you change your router's password and you no longer know it, you need to reset your router back to default settings. Following that, you must follow the directions on the router's user guide to change your wi-fi name and password.
