Guidance from CLAT Gurukul improves your skills in Current Affairs

by Aakash Jain Award winning writer
Many students neglect the Current Affairs section of the CLAT exam while preparing a study plan. They concentrate more on other sections. But, the Current Affairs section has equal weight, same as other sections. You need to focus on it, too.

It is far easier to score high marks in the Current Affairs questions. You don’t have to get involved in quantitative analysis. Also, there are no verbal questions. You simply need to have sound general knowledge. CLAT Gurukul, with its comprehensively professional approach, helps you to improve your skills in countering Current Affairs questions.

The institute offers both classroom and correspondence courses. It is your discretion to choose the course that seems more suitable. Each of the courses has modules and classes on teaching about Current Affairs. Your skills become stronger when you dedicatedly attend the classes and follow instructions.

The teachers of the best CLAT coaching in Patna, CLAT Gurukul work hard to design the questions of Current Affairs. They do a lot of research about current events, both at national and international levels. Mock questions are of high quality, accounting for the updated curriculum of the CLAT exam. The extensive range of the questions is satisfactory.

A question in the section has 4 distinct options. Three of the four options are wrong. Your objective is to choose the correct option to score. If you mark a wrong answer, then marks would be deducted. So, you need to be aware of the negative marking policy.

Take for example this question: What is the official mascot of FIFA U-17 World Cup India 2017? There are four options listed as A, B, C, and D. Option A is Kheleo, a clouded leopard. Option B is Chaormi, a tiger boy. Option C is Zabivaka, a wolf. Option D is Fuleco, a 3-banded armadillo. The correct choice, in this case, is option A, Kheleo, a clouded leopard.

Another example of a question would make things more coherent for you. Consider the question: Who tied up recently with Symantec to fight cyberwars? In this case, too, there are the usual 4 answer choices. Option A is BSNL. Option B is Vodafone. Option C is Bharati Airtel. Option D is Jio. The correct answer here is Option C, Bharati Airtel.

It is extremely important to read newspapers and relevant magazines in order to remain updated about the current affairs of India and other countries.

Take one last example in this blog and test yourself. Consider the simple question: National Sports Day was observed on ________. Obviously, you have to fill in the blank with a specific date. The options, in this case, are Aug 29, Aug 28, Aug 25, and Aug 20.

All August dates could be confusing at first glance. But, if you have prepared well, then it is easy to answer the question. The correct choice here is Aug 29. It will fetch you full marks.

Thus, enroll in one of the reputable study courses of CLAT Gurukul to enhance your skills in Current Affairs. You would begin to realize the benefits very soon, as your confidence would grow.
