There are plenty of other great football players, too, so make sure to cast your vote!

David Beckham - Currently one of the best english players in the world, Beckham started his professional career at Soton FC before moving to Blackburn Rovers. He earned 58 caps by the time he was 21 years old. Until the 2002 Olympics, he continued to play for England, representing the country as captain. He has the record for most caps won by an English player, with 138.

Steven Gerrard - Known as "The 'Gerrard of the 1990s," Gerrard is one of England's greatest players of all time. He won 58 caps by the age of 21. He was captain of the national team for six years and won the Golden Boot at the 2002 Olympics. He has more caps than anyone else in history. While Beckham was an amazing player, he did not make it to the top of the list for a lackluster performance.

Sir Bobby Charlton - The 'Beggs' wore the red shirt and made England proud. His talent and determination helped the English win the World Cup four times. He is a true legend of the game and one of England's greatest ever players. He was the first player to win the league in four different countries. The ball never seems to go out of his hand. Unlike many of the other greats in the list, the 'Becks' had a long career and earned his place among England's greatest.

There are so many great England players. The greatest goalscorer is Wayne Rooney, who has the most goals in England's history. The second highest goal-scorer is Bobby Moore. Rio Ferdinand has won four World Cups and 108 caps. Ultimately, the greatest England soccer player of all-time was Pele. But there are so many more greats. You will have to choose your favorite.

There are many other great players who have made England proud. The first is Harry Kane, a retired soccer player. He has a remarkable record for scoring in the FIFA World Cup final. He has played for England for his entire life. He has scored over two hundred goals in the Premiership and the World Cup Final. And he has the most assists in England! But there is another England legend: Gary Lineker.
