The younger generation shows the least interest in Indian government jobs, you can still see a large crowd standing outside the exam centers. Government jobs have more than 17.6 million people employed in our country. It is higher than the private sector. So, there may be some solid reasons behind it.

Our government jobs are well-paid and sought after. The major benefits like timely income, stability, house facility, additional allowance, and others entice young people. 

Aspirations for the latest government jobs are generally seen in the lower and middle class rather than the upper. These jobs do not offer great salaries but there is job security and retirement pension.
