by Paul Luciw Rocky Mtn Explorerer Marketing
The golf swing can be a complicated thing to learn. There are many component to the golf swing that must be done correctly with the proper timing. Doing a golf swing review every week can help you improve your golf swing and lower your score.

One aspect that should be checked in a golf swing review is your golf swing release. If you find that it is not correct there are a number of things you can do to improve it. Doing certain golf swing drills just before a round of golf could help improve your golf swing release. A good drill to help ensure your golf swing release is correct is the back swing/follow-through drill.

The back swing/follow-through is quite simple and also helps to warm up your muscles before you make the first shot of your round. Start this drill by making a slow deliberate back swing. Stop your golf swing takeaway about half way. As you make the stop your wrists should be cocked with the club pointing to the sky. Make sure your lead arm is straight and the elbow is cocked. When starting your downswing you proceed to your follow through and stop half way. Stop for a few seconds. Your arms will be pointing at the intended target. Your club should be pointing towards the sky. Repeat this movement with a slow tempo at first and increase it as you complete more of these movements.
