While there was full-time staff focused on bringing innovative start-ups and incubating them internally, they wanted to extend the scope of this exercise and have an external perspective. Their end objective was to secure innovative, future-looking solutions they could offer to their clients. Using the Hub looked attractive as its team was made up of experienced HR practitioners giving them confidence that the solutions would be practical and address’ real-life client issues’.
Solution
The Human Capital Digital Innovation Hub looked at some key trends impacting the future of work and helped the firm identify an innovative solution around the Gig Economy. The consulting firm used the six-month program to understand the start-up’s product features and its ability to be leveraged across its product portfolio. They also show-cased the solution to several clients and strengthened its brand around innovation & thought leadership. Access to solutions used by the participating Hub members helped them increase their exposure to other innovative solutions and strengthen their understanding of the market.
