Whatever may be the size of your congregation hall, now days with the help of online markets, you can get the perfect set of church chair for the hall. But sometimes people are confused regarding where to begin and what to look for. If you are a first time buyer then there are many things that you are unaware of. Basically there are three types of chair one can find:
  • Multi-purpose stack type: If you want to have an elevated look then this type is perfect for you. It is also beneficial to use this type in case you are short of storage capabilities.
  • Metal folding type: These are perhaps the most durable and cost effective choice. The metal used to manufacture these chair ensures its strength and the folding feature give you the advantage to fold it and store them anywhere.
  • Wooden type: Although these are costly and heavier as compared to other types of worship chairs, its style and warmth feeling makes people fall for it. It gives a better look to the hall and is ideal for semi permanent placements.

Once you lock on the type of the chair you prefer, the next thing to consider is the comfort. Comfort is the reason that the long used unpadded chairs and pews are out of the market. With due course of time, it becomes very hard to sit in these chairs. At the minimum, the chairs you purchase must have a cushioned seat. Padded sear along with the back rest is the best combination. There are many companies that advertise to have the best padding but one should take care while buying these church chairs. Different companies have padding of different thickness, so select the one that gives the best value of money.

You might have made up your mind of not adding any extra feature to your worship chairs but it is worth to reconsider in this. Here are some of the options available to you:
  • Ganging Brackets: there are hook like pieces that are placed at the side of the chairs. These enable you to attach different chairs with each other. If you have multiple services in a day and hate constantly straightening the rows after each session then this is a must for you. These brackets will keep the chairs in a straight line.
  • Armrest: It gives the visitor some room to breathe while he/she prays in a crowded hall. It is wise to check that the armrests do not hinder in stacking the chairs.
