Fresh Coconut Fudge
Coconut Fudge is a very popular Indian Fudge Recipe. In India it is popular as Coconut Burfi or Nariyal Ki Burfi. This fudge is very easy to make at home. It requires very few ingredients like - fresh coconut, dry milk, water, sugar and cardamom powder. As I told you that it is made from fresh coconut hence it is very good to have. It has all the properties of fresh coconuts incorporating the goodness of milk. Ingredients Of Coconut Fudge
Grated fresh coconut - 2 cups
Dried milk - 1/2 cup
Sugar - 1 cup
Water - 1/2 cup
Cardamom powder - 1/4 tsp
Kewra water - 1 tsp (optional)
Dry fruits
Yellow food color
At first in a pan add grated coconut and dry roast it on the low flame till it becomes dry.
In other pan add sugar and water.
Cook this mixture to make sugar syrup. Do it on the medium flame so that the sugar dissolves properly.
Take it off from flame and add dried milk to it and mix it properly.
Now add roasted coconut, cardamom powder, kewra water and yellow color. Mix it properly.
Pour this mixture on a greased plate and sprinkle dry fruits on it.
Let it set for at least 5 hours then cut it into desire shape and size.
Your Coconut Fudge or Coconut Burfi is ready to serve.
