Four Avocado Oil Face Mask Ideas

It’s a fact: avocado oil is amazing for your face. It has anti-aging benefits, it moisturizes your skin, and it provides antioxidants. There are many ways to use the oil in your natural skincare routine. One great way is to use it in a face mask. Here are four face masks that incorporate avocado.

Avocado Oil and Mashed Avocado

This simple mask is made purely out of avocado. To create it, start by mashing up a ripe avocado. Then, stir in a tablespoon of avocado oil. Wash your face to remove any dirt and oil, and then apply your mask. Try to avoid your noses, eyes, and mouth. Leave the mask on for ten to fifteen minutes, and then wash it off with a towel soaked in warm water.  This mask will make your skin feel soft and refreshed.

Avocado Oil, Coconut Oil, Almond Oil, and Honey

You can also mix avocado oil with natural ingredients to create a rejuvenating mask that’s full of vitamins. An avocado oil, coconut oil, and honey mask is particularly good for people with dry and sensitive skin. To create this mask, mix together half a tablespoon of avocado oil, half a tablespoon of coconut oil, a fourth of a tablespoon of almond oil, and a tablespoon of raw honey. You can also add in a few drops of an essential oil, like lavender oil. Apply the mixture to your face, and leave it on for about ten minutes. Then, cover your face with a damp, warm towel for about thirty seconds. This will help open up your pores. After the thirty seconds are up, remove the towel and wash off the rest of the mask.

Oatmeal and Avocado Oil

Oatmeal is often used in face masks because it contains antioxidants, has anti-inflammatory properties and is able to absorb oil from the skin. When you combine the oatmeal with avocado oil, you’ll create a mask that’s full of benefits for your skin. To make a powerful face mask, combine half a cup of cooked oatmeal, a teaspoon of avocado oil, a teaspoon of honey, one egg white, and a few drops of lemon juice. Leave this mask on for anywhere from fifteen to thirty minutes. These ingredients will all work together to make your skin feel smooth and look clear.

Avocado Oil and Banana

Finally, bananas contain potassium and a multitude of vitamins that make your skin healthier. For this mask, mash up one ripe banana and mix it with a teaspoon of avocado oil. Spread it on your face, and leave it on for ten to fifteen minutes. Then, wash it off with a towel soaked in warm water. This mask helps deliver healthy, beautiful skin.
