Ford Introduces Haulers, Trailers and Campers
Families looking to take their weekend camping trips to the next level can now travel the country in specialized Ford vehicles. Instead of traveling the mountains of Utah in a durable Ford F150, families can now also set out to explore the lands in one of Ford’s new outdoor trailers, toy haulers or campers. Ford Motor Company announced its new additions on Dec. 3, 2015, and believes the vehicles will be on the market beginning in 2016.
In an interview with Ford’s media center, Mark Bently, Ford Licensing manager, stated, “Exploring America is in our customers’ DNA and recreational vehicles are part of Ford’s history, so these new camping options are great for our adventurous customers.” Therefore, it was only natural for the vehicle manufacturer to license and release a line-up of toy haulers, travel trailers and slide-in campers.
Ford’s Outdoor Line-Up
Ford’s new vehicles will be licensed and built by Livin Lite and will be manufactured with advanced material to keep their weight down and prevent rusting and rotting of any sort.
Furthermore, each vehicle will feature a two-year warranty to ensure customers get the most out of their new travel companion. Whether traveling through the scenic lands of Utah or to the seaside for a weekend getaway, Ford has you covered.
Keep On Truckin’
“Ford slide-in truck campers will be offered for 6- and 8-foot truck beds, while the first travel trailers and toy haulers will be offered in 22- and 24-foot lengths,” stated Ford’s media center. The fun doesn’t stop there as Ford plans to include longer fifth-wheel trailers and shorter pop-up campers—all in addition to its well-known F150.
All of the power and comfort found within every Ford vehicle can now be taken on road trips from Utah to the West Coast with the new outdoor line-up. But until the new models are released in 2016, lovers of the long-lasting F150 can continue cruising through their daily commutes in eager anticipation.
