Bathing & Photography:
The sector 3 of the mela ground is the main bathing area known as Sangam Nose and is opened for tourist Pontoon bridge is well connected to the various sides of the river. It's also possible to take a boat from Arail ghat to the Sangam area. On the main bathing dates vehicles are banned to enter the mela ground. It is advisable to wear comfortable pair of shoes as up to 1kilometer is expected top be covered. Photographers can get to Sangam Nose around 4.30 a.m. on the main bathing day to get the best photos, as the sadhus start jumping in the water at sunrise. Phography at Sangam Nose is allowed only with a press pass or journalist visa otherwise there is a chance of getting the camera confiscated.
