The Red River Zoo: the Red River Zoo is an 8-acre zoo
that opened in 1999. Accredited with the Association of Zoos and Aquariums-the
zoo is owned by the George Anderson Family. The zoo is open all year round and
features over 600 animals of 89 species. It's also home to a 1928 carousel
donated to the zoo by the Diederich family. In 2013 the zoo introduced an
underwater viewing area for the North SouthwestRiver Otter. Besides this, the
zoo also holds special breeding grounds for some of the world’s rarest cold
climate species like red pandas.
The Fargo Air Museum: The FARGO Air Museum is a popular
aviation museum in North Dakota. This
museum is situated at Hector International Airport in the northern part of
Fargo. The museum exhibits several historic aircraft of which some can be still
in use. In 2016, the museum purchased a 1944 tractor that was used as an
aircraft during World War II.
Bonanzaville: Bonanzaville is a history museum
complex located in West Fargo, North Dakota. It is made up of 40buildings on 12
acres- most of the buildings are historic and have a special theme. Bonanzaville features a prairie church,
firefighting vehicles, drug store, aircraft museum, automobile museum, a fire
station, Fargo first house, schoolhouse, a telephone museum, a law enforcement
museum, and thousands of artifacts.

The Heritage Hjemkomst Center is a museum located in Moorhead, Minnesota. This
museum opened in 1985- it is the home of the Hjemkomst Viking Ship. The word
Hjemkomst means- homecoming and the Viking ship is a full-scale replica of the
Gokstad Viking ship discovered in 1880.
