Lord Shiva is the creator of the world; he is the main deity among Hindu religion. Shiva is also known as destroyer among the Trimurti. He is very kind to his followers hence Bholenath is the also the suitable title for him. Lord Shiva is the giver of wisdom; here are few things we can learn from almighty:

Never Tolerate Injustice:

Lord Shiva never tolerated evil and always fight against the injustice. He was fair even when destroying the evils. We should take a lesson from Lord Shiva itself and apply it in our day to day life. Never ever tolerate injustice and violence around you.

Anger is never the answer:

This might baffle you as we have a perception in mind about almighty and often we associate Lord Shiva with rage. This is totally wrong as Mahadev is Maha Yogi and meditates for hours and it is only possible due to the cool intellect and calm mind. Only exception cases like evil war disturbs his mind and result in rage. Therefore, keep in mind anger is never the answer in our day to day life battle. It may harm everything and achieves nothing. Stay calm to win over your life’s battles.

Happiness doesn’t mean Materialistic Things:

What comes in your mind when think about Lord Shiva belongings? Snake, Damru and Trishul? He always dresses up in animal’s skin still he reined the universe. Therefore, if you have less materialistic things, it doesn’t mean you don’t exist anywhere. Being attached to assets only leads to being tied physically, emotionally and mentally down. Materialistic things give only temporary happiness, until you find something better.

Your Biggest Downfall is obsession:

Ravana’s obsession over Sita led to his and his region’s end. Therefore, you should take a lesson from it that obsession over anything could lead you to an end. Lord Shiva is always free from materialistic desires and never obsessed over anything.

Respect your partner:

Mata Parvati is always on Bholenath’s side. In fact people know him as the name of Ardhanarishwar, i.e. half woman and half man and half woman. Maa Parvati is the essential part of him, he always treated her with utmost love. Mata is his strength and he can never be apart from her. Though, our spouse are truly our better halves and we should learn to treat them with respect and care.
