Football is a sport which does not only keep people fit but also teaches a lot about teamwork and other virtues. Therefore, parents always want their children to play football from a very early age. However, there are football age rules that are needed to be followed in order to practice the game. The age division maintained for the game is as follows:

Ages Six and Below

• Players of this group are the youngest and are introduced to the sport for a fast time. They need the right training and therefore, the coaches do not put much pressure on the members of this age group so that they can develop the skills with ease and without feeling any pressure.
• Children of this age do not pressurize themselves and try to prove their skills by competing with other children. They instead focus on the basics of the game.

Ages between Seven and Nine

Ages between Ten and Twelve

• Players get to help themselves psychologically by playing as they experience the changes which come along with adolescence.
