You have taken the right decision to explore Switzerland by a car. The hairpin bends in the mountains, super smooth roads and scenic landscape make for an ideal holiday that is best to be enjoyed by car. You can stop when you want and take a closer look at the mountains, lakes, quaint villages and towns along your way.

With a rail pass, you can make a discounted journey by train, boat, cable car, etc. In the absence of a pass, you would need to pay a full fare, which is often expensive.
